On Sunday, July 31,2022m, Al-Ayen University inaugurated the structure of the teaching hospital for the Medicine College in presence of the Deputy Director of Chines Co. Power China Mr. Joe, Director General of Dhi-Qar Health Directorate Dr. Jafer N. Hussein, Director General of Dhi-Qar Investment Commission Mr. Abdulhameed Al-Hassona, Member of the Commission Ali Al-Dujaily, Director of Heart Center in Nasyria Dr. Aqeel S. A-Khafagi
The University was represented by its President Prof. Dr. Shafik Sh. Al-Mowla, Vice-President for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the investor consulting engineer Abdulrahman Y. Audah, Dean of Technical Engineering College Assst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jibouri, and a number of Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments staff and employees.
This Hospital is one of the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish a college of medicine in the University, which will provide medical services to the Province, as well as training the students of the college. It is planned to have 200 beds and 11 operation theaters.
