The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, held a scientific workshop entitled "Publishing Scientific Research in Scopus-Indexed Journals: Requirements, Steps, and Challenges." This workshop was part of the unit's ongoing scientific activities aimed at enhancing researchers' skills and improving the quality of research output.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Lecturer Arshad Hassan Dakhel, who addressed the most prominent requirements and standards for publishing in Scopus-indexed journals. He also discussed the essential steps for selecting a suitable scientific journal and preparing research that meets publication requirements. Furthermore, he reviewed the most significant challenges researchers may face and how to overcome them.
This workshop reflects the college's commitment to supporting research, promoting a culture of rigorous scientific research, and developing the skills of academic staff and researchers. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing the quality of research and its presence in international scientific databases.
