The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held a three-day training course titled "Quality of Educational Laboratories" The course targeted laboratory supervisors in colleges and academic departments as part of the university's preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The course was presented by the department director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammed Hassan and researcher Hassan Riyadh Nono, head of the Laboratory Quality Unit. It covered the fundamental standards for quality in educational laboratories, organizational requirements, methods for enhancing students' skills, laboratory safety and security procedures, and mechanisms for monitoring and self-evaluation. The course concluded with a final exam to assess the extent to which the trainees understand the axes of the course content.
