The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon visited the Governor of Dhi Qar, Mr. Haider Ghani Al-Hussainawi, to offer his congratulations on assuming his duties as Governor of Dhi Qar, wishing him success in serving the province and its people.
The delegation included members of the University Council and directors of administrative departments, along with the administration of Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the university and governmental institutions in the province.
For his part, the Governor of Dhi Qar congratulated the University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Marhoon on the University's inclusion in the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS 2026), praising this scientific achievement and its significance for the university's international academic standing.
