Al-Ayen Iraqi University hosted its annual faculty forum for the 2026-2027 academic year. The meeting was attended by the University Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the Academic Deputy Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein, the Administrative Deputy Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Awda, and a number of faculty and administrative staff.
The forum included a review of the most prominent achievements and efforts made by the university's colleges during the academic year in the areas of scientific research, international rankings, quality and accreditation, student and sports activities, as well as academic and research collaborations with universities and scientific institutions both within and outside Iraq. This reflects the level of development witnessed in the university's academic journey.
During the meeting, the university presidency commended the outstanding efforts of the faculty and administrative staff and their contributions that have helped achieve these accomplishments and strengthen the university's progress. At the conclusion of the forum, the College of Engineering Technology was honored, starting with its Dean, Prof. Dr. Raed Nasr Al-Obaidi, and with the participation of its teaching and administrative staff and examination committees, in appreciation of their efforts, achievements and the scientific, academic, administrative and student contributions they made during the academic year.
