The First Deputy Governor of Dhi Qar, Mr. Razzaq Kashish visited Al-Ayen Iraqi University, offering his congratulations on the university's inclusion in the Shanghai Ranking, an academic achievement reflecting its growing international presence.
He was received by the University Academic Deputy, Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein, and the Administrative Deputy Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Awda.
Mr. Kashish conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Governor of Dhi Qar to the university's presidency and staff, commanding Al-Ayen University's significant role in raising the profile of Dhi Qar Governorate and enhancing its presence in international academic forums, as well as its efforts in developing higher education and internationalizing the university's global standing.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hussein conveyed the greetings of the University Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, to the Deputy Governor, commending the Governorate's keen interest and continuous monitoring of the university's various achievements. He emphasized that this attention reflects the importance of elevating the level of higher education and strengthening the presence of academic institutions in global rankings.
Prof. Dr. Awda, in his turn, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Kashish for this visit, stressing that such visits represent an important incentive for the university to continue working and providing more academic and scientific achievements that enhance the position of Dhi Qar and Iraq in international forums.
