The Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi, and the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan Al-Zaghbi honored the Student Activities Department at Al-Ayen University in recognition of the university's outstanding achievement in student activities.
The honor took place during the general evaluation ceremony for student activities for the 2025-2026 academic year, having Al-Ayen University achieved the second place in sports activities and third place in student activities among Iraqi public and private universities in a competition that included more than 100 participating universities.
The Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Maitham Uday Muhammad Saleh explained that the university administration provided extensive support to the department in various activities, which contributed to achieving these distinguished results.
For his part, the Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon commended the achievement of the Student Activities Department, emphasizing the need to continue this approach and to further support student and sports activities due to their prominent role in developing students' talents.
