.Al-Ayen Iraqi University held its annual faculty meeting in the presence of the university president Chancellor Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the academic deputy Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein, and the administrative deputy Pro. Dr. Atheer Y Awda, as well as members of the university council.
The meeting reviewed the university's most prominent achievements during the academic year, including its rankings in academic classifications such as the Shanghai Ranking. It also highlighted the university's accomplishments in scientific research, quality assurance, and academic accreditation, in addition to student and sports activities and university participation in various events, which garnered the university several advanced rankings and results.
Furthermore, the meeting presented the efforts of the Quality Assurance Department in monitoring and developing academic performance and reviewed the activities of the Continuing Education Center, including workshops and training programs offered to faculty and staff.
It also addressed the academic and research collaborations the university has established with several universities and institutions, and the ongoing work on new partnerships that support the university's efforts to expand its academic presence and meet the requirements for further international rankings. The university chancellor commended the efforts of all university staff members throughout the academic year, praising their work and cooperation in various fields.
The event concluded with the university chancellor and his assistants for academic and administrative affairs honoring the deans of the colleges, heads of departments, members of examination committees, and directors of departments and units in recognition of their efforts in completing the academic year's tasks. The efforts of the directors of the follow-up, accounting, registration, and media departments were also commended for their support and follow-up, which contributed to the successful completion of the tasks.
