The central conference hall in Building F at Al-Ayen Iraqi University hosted the "Grand Mental Arithmetic Competition" on Friday, August 26th. Organized by "Soroban Al-Mu'allim for Mental Arithmetic" in collaboration with the university, the competition attended by wide participation, including 65 male and female contestants from various schools in Thi Qar Province
The university presidency was represented at the event by the Academic Deputy Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Hussein, and the Administrative Deputy Prof. Dr. Atheer Yousef Awda.
The university presidency emphasized that hosting this event in cooperation with "Soroban Al-Mu'allim" falls within the university's academic and social responsibility to support and nurture creative talents and provide an ideal environment for developing the intellectual abilities of young people, thus enabling them to excel in local and international competitions.
