The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon received a sports delegation that included Aqeel Jabbar Nasser, the national team coach and director of the Sports Activities Department at the Dhi Qar Headquarters of Education, and athlete Ithmar Aqeel Jabbar. The meeting was held in recognition of her outstanding athletic achievement at the West Asian Championships, which took place in Amman, Jordan, with the participation of teams from ten countries.
During the meeting, Prof. Marhoon commended Ithmar Aqeel Jabbar's accomplishment, noting her winning two gold and two silver medals at the championships. He emphasized that this achievement reflects the advanced level of Iraqi sports and the promising athletic talent within the province. He also commended the coach's efforts, affirming that these sporting achievements are a source of pride and honor.
