The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon conducted a visit to Al-Shatra University, where he met with its Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein, to discuss prospects for scientific and academic cooperation and to strengthen relations between the two institutions.
The meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest, including ways to exchange scientific and academic expertise and develop areas of cooperation in scientific research and educational programs, with the aim of promoting the level of academic performance.
The accompanying delegation comprised the Deputy Chancellor for Acedemic Affairs Prof. Dr. Naseer A. H. Al-Quraishi, the Dean of the College of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Ihsan A. Kamil, and the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitham T. Al-Mousawi.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and communication between Iraqi universities and expanding scientific and academic partnerships, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support educational institutions and exchange successful experiences.
