The Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon visited the Chancellor of Sumer University, Prof. Dr. Adel R. Al-Zarkani, to discuss ways to enhance scientific cooperation between the two universities. They also reviewed the readiness and preparations for the launch of the new academic year and the approved operational mechanisms to ensure the readiness of the educational process.
The delegation included the Deputy Chancellor for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Naseer A. H. Al-Quraishi, the Dean of the College of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Ihsan A. Kamil, and the Director of the Academic Affairs Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitham T. Al-Mousawi.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Zarkani emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions to facilitate the exchange of expertise and the development of academic and research programs. He commended Al-Ayen University for its remarkable progress and achievements at both the scientific and academic levels.
At the end of the visit, Prof. Dr. Marhoon presented a bouquet of flowers to the Chancellor of Sumer University in recognition of the strong relationship between the two universities.
