The Deputy Chancellor of Al-Ayen University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Hussein, along with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Faiq Kadhim, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Ayen University Conference Proceedings, Dr. Sarah Jawad Shuja received members of the Higher Ministerial Committee overseeing the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship. The meeting aimed to discuss cooperation and support for the championship, intended to be held in Baghdad in the coming September.
The discussion covered the various axes and tracks of the championship, its role in developing students' skills, and its motivating of innovative technological projects that keep pace with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics. The participation of Al-Ayen University, which is preparing to compete with 17 projects, was also discussed.
During the meeting, the university presidency affirmed its commitment to supporting the national championship by providing scientific, moral, and material support through embracing outstanding projects and highlighting them academically and in research. It was also agreed to publish (18) research papers derived from the winning projects in the championship in the Al-Ayen Iraqi University Conference Proceedings (AUIQ Conference Proceedings) journal, which enhances the presence of the research outputs of the participants and opens wider horizons for students and researchers to develop their projects and employ them in various scientific and applied fields.
