A delegation from the College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, headed by the Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Firas F. Kadhim visited the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate – Dhi Qar Branch to strengthen cooperation between academic and professional institutions and contribute to the advancement of engineering and the development of students' and graduates' skills.
The delegation was received by Law specialist Engineer Khalaf Othman Mayeh, Head of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate branch in Dhi Qar, Eng. Hassan Najri Arimish Secretary of the branch, and Eng. Ahmed Al-Lami member of the branch council.
During the visit, a joint meeting was held to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the College of Engineering and the Syndicate in scientific and professional fields, exchange expertise, and discuss the establishment of training courses, specialized workshops, and development programs that contribute to strengthening the capabilities of students and graduates and preparing them for the labor market.
The meeting also addressed the possibility of implementing joint scientific activities, activating cooperation in the training field, and supporting engineering initiatives that contribute to serving the community and enhancing the role of engineers in development and recreconstructio.I
n conclusion, both sides emphasized the importance of continued communication and joint coordination to serve scientific and professional goals, and to contribute to the development of the engineering environment and to provide students and graduates with the necessary expertise to meet the demands of the labor market.
