Joint Examinations Continue Between the College of Medicine of Al-Ayen University and the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University
On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held a joint examination in Gynecology for fourth-year students from both the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen University and the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University. This examination was conducted within the framework of joint academic cooperation between the two colleges and aimed to enhance quality standards in medical education.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Adnan Taan Al-Khafaji conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls to observe the examination process and its organization and to monitor the procedures so as to ensure a suitable environment for students during the examinations.
The college also received a visit from the Deputy Dean of the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Faiz Khalaf, accompanied by faculty members from the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University, to observe the joint examination process and the student evaluation mechanisms according to the approved academic standards.
Prof. Dr. Al-Khafaji emphasized the importance of joint examinations in strengthening scientific cooperation between Iraqi medical colleges and unifying academic standards, which contributes to developing the level of medical education and achieving scientific rigor.
The visiting delegation also praised the scientific and organizational level demonstrated by the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen University, appreciating the efforts of the college’s deanship, examination committees and teaching staff in making the joint examinations a success and providing a suitable environment for students.
