Chancellor of Al-Ayen University Meets with the Board of Directors of Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital
Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon Al-Khafaji, Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, met with the Board of Directors of Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital. The meeting was also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Awda, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein Al-Quraishi, the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, and several members of the University Council.
During the meeting, they discussed the current operations of Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital and explored ways to improve the medical and educational services provided. This aims to enhance the training environment for medical students and elevate the level of healthcare according to established academic and medical standards.
The university chancellor emphasized the importance of integration between the academic and clinical aspects, noting the university's commitment to supporting the hospital and developing its medical and educational capabilities. This support will positively impact the clinical training of students and the services provided to the public.
The meeting also addressed future plans for developing the hospital, supporting medical, nursing, and administrative staff, and strengthening cooperation between the hospital administration and the College of Medicine to achieve shared scientific and service-related goals.
Those present praised the efforts made in developing Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital, stressing the importance of continued coordination and joint work to contribute to the advancement of the health and education sector in the governorate.
