The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Law and the Dhi Qar Traffic Directorate, organized a workshop entitled “Road Language and Your Legal Awareness” to commemorate 52nd anniversary of Traffic Week. The workshop aimed to enhance traffic awareness among university students.
The workshop was presented by Law Specialist Brigadier General Ali Ghanem Abdul Salman, who addressed the concepts of “road language,” international traffic signs, right-of-way according to Iraqi law, proper road crossing behavior, and ways to prevent accidents.
The workshop aimed to instill a legal and traffic culture in students, contributing to raising public awareness, promoting road safety, and reducing accidents.
