In a scholarly atmosphere characterized by generosity and knowledge, and as part of the research plan for fifth-year pharmacy students at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, student Zahraa Ali Mohammed, along with a group of her classmates, presented a unique awareness activity: the preparation and design of a brochure for their graduation research project entitled:
Awareness, Prevalence, and Usage Patterns of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Among Pharmacy and Medical Students: A Cross-Sectional Study in Thi-Qar, Iraq
This project was supervised by Dr. Fahmi Yahya Ahmed.
The brochure addressed the topic of the safe use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), explaining their most important uses, side effects, and situations requiring caution when using them. It also included a set of health tips emphasizing the importance of consulting a doctor or pharmacist and avoiding the random use of painkillers.
The brochure was distributed to a number of students, professors, and visitors to the Al-Ayen University library, in an initiative aimed at spreading pharmaceutical awareness and promoting a culture of proper medication use.
Thanks and gratitude to all the purposeful scientific efforts that make research a useful mission and knowledge a path to serving society.
