On Sunday, April 26, 2026, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, in cooperation with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, launched the “University Heirs” project. The launch was attended by the University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, project officials, several deans, faculty members, and students.
The project aims to support the university environment and enhance cultural, intellectual, and volunteer activities among students, contributing to the development of community awareness and instilling the values of initiative and teamwork.
The launch event included an awareness lecture addressing the importance of investing youth energies in volunteer work and developing personal skills. Various cultural competitions were also organized, which contributed to strengthening student engagement with the project's objectives.
In conclusion, the portal for registration was opened for students wishing to participate in the project's various programs and activities.
