Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, Dean of the College of Medicine, Chairs Discussion Committee at the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties
The Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties issued an administrative order forming a scientific committee to discuss a specialized research paper in the field of internal medicine under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This initiative aims to support academic activity and enhance the quality of medical research.
Professor Dr. Al-Khafaji chaired the committee and oversaw the discussion and evaluation of the research according to established scientific standards, reflecting his academic standing and active role in advancing scientific progress.
The research addresses an important topic in the field of internal medicine: the clinical determinants and prognostic indicators of contrast-induced nephropathy in patients with STEMI acute myocardial infarction undergoing primary coronary intervention (PCI). This is a vital topic with a direct impact on medical practice.
The discussion session was held in the conference hall at the College of Medicine, University of Dhi Qar, with the participation of committee members, including professors and consultants, as well as a number of specialists. This session was part of a scientific program aimed at promoting rigorous research and raising the professional standards of physicians.
