The seventh session of the College of Pharmacy Council at Al-Ayen Iraqi University was held under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Anbari, attendanded by the Academic and Administrative Deputy of the Dean, along with all council members.
During the session, the council discussed several academic, organizational, and administrative matters related to the current academic year 2025-2026, most notably:
• Directives from the University Esteemed Chancellor and recommendations from the University Council issued in its last session.
• Preparations for holding the final formative and non-formative examinations for all four academic years (excluding the first year), in addition to the monthly examinations for the second semester for first-year students.
• Reviewing and evaluating the completed practical and theoretical lectures and uploading them to the College of Pharmacy's online platform.
• Preparing for the graduation project presentations for fifth-year students.
• Updating the committee overseeing summer training and discussing the plan allocated for this purpose.
• Finalizing the annual plan and the college's academic plan.
• Preparing for the College of Pharmacy's Scientific Day.
• Listening to the members of the Academic Advising Committee for all academic levels and urging them to intensify their direct and effective communication with students to identify their most pressing problems and needs, and everything that would contribute to achieving the desired educational and academic goals.
The council also addressed a number of other items on the agenda, and the session concluded with the submission of recommendations to the esteemed University Council for review and approval, and the scheduling of the next meeting.
