A Scientific Seminar at the College of Education on the English Language: Its Roots and Prospects
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Student Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the English Department at the College of Education, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, organized a scientific seminar entitled "The English Language: Its Roots and Prospects."
The seminar was presented by Mr. Jaafar Hajim Al-Badri and students from the English Department: Ghadeer Tariq Muharib, Ayat Ali Sabah, and Zainab Jabbar Muhaysin, in presence of a number of students from the Department.
The seminar addressed three main axes. The first focused on the historical roots of the development of the English language. The second axis discussed the English language in the modern era and its global spread. The third axis though explored the future prospects of the English language in light of technological advancements.
