On Saturday, April 11, 2026, Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Hussein, Deputy Chancellor of Al-Ayen University for Academic Affairs, inaugurated the second annual Physics Festival, organized by the College of Education/Department of Physics. The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim, the Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Musa Mohammed Mahdi, along with several deans, faculty members, and a large number of students.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Hussein commended the organizers for their efforts, emphasizing that such scientific events contribute to enhancing the academic environment and developing students' skills. He also highlighted their role in reinforcing the concepts of physics as a foundation for understanding cosmic phenomena and their applications in daily life.
