Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital signed a cooperation and operation agreement with Sam Health, a company specializing in managing healthcare institutions and providing medical services using the latest global technologies. The agreement aims to develop medical and administrative management and enhance the quality of healthcare.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, who commended the hospital's standards and the importance of this step in supporting the health sector. He emphasized that the agreement represents a qualitative leap towards adopting modern systems in management and medical services.
Also present were the Director General of Dhi Qar Health, Dr. Rashid Najm Al-Khalidi, the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Taan, and a number of doctors, academics, and media representatives. They affirmed that cooperation with a company possessing expertise in hospital management and the application of modern technologies will contribute to raising the efficiency of medical performance and developing the skills of healthcare staff.
For its part, the Turkish side, represented by the management of Sam Health, commended the level of medical staff and the available infrastructure at the hospital. This agreement focuses primarily on transferring expertise and implementing modern models in hospital management, which will contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and reducing the need for treatment outside Iraq by providing advanced medical care within the country that efficiently meets patients' needs.
