The Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Technology at the College of Engineering Technology/Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a scientific field trip for its students to the Dhi Qar Combined Cycle Power Plant. The trip, supervised by the Head of the Department, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajami, and aimed to enhance the students' practical skills and connect theoretical concepts with practical applications.
During the visit, the students toured the plant's various components, learned about the stages of electricity production and the role of each stage, and gained an understanding of the vital role of mechanical engineers in operating and maintaining the systems.
This trip reflects the College Deanship's and Department Head's commitment to providing a comprehensive learning environment that contributes to developing students' intellectual and practical skills and prepares them for the labor market with high competence.
