As part of the College of Engineering Technology's ongoing monitoring of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division's activities, the Committee for Monitoring and Developing Academic Descriptions for Programs and Curricula held a special meeting with representatives from the college's academic departments. The meeting aimed to discuss mechanisms for formulating academic descriptions for programs and curricula in accordance with modern educational requirements.
During the meeting, which was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Najm Nimr Al-Subaih, Head of the Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology Department and a member of the College of Engineering Technology's Institutional and Program Accreditation Committee, discussions focused on identifying educational objectives and learning outcomes for curricula and aligning them with semester and college objectives. This alignment contributes to achieving the mission and learning outcomes of the academic programs.
The meeting also included a review of the academic descriptions for several curricula to better suit the nature of the specializations and the specific requirements of Al-Ayen Iraqi University. This ensures that the academic descriptions are more consistent with teaching and learning requirements and academic quality standards.
