The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a workshop titled "Introduction to Participating in the National Robotics Competition NURAI 2026," in collaboration with the College of Engineering Technology. The workshop was attended by a number of students and others interested in robotics and modern technologies.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Sayhood, a member of the ministerial committee organizing the National Robotics Championship. During the workshop, he reviewed the competition's participation mechanisms and registration requirements, in addition to outlining the competition's themes and objectives in developing students' skills in innovation, programming, and engineering design.
The workshop witnessed significant student engagement, with participants asking questions and seeking clarification on participating in the competition and exploring ways to benefit from these scientific opportunities that contribute to developing their technical capabilities.
In conclusion, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Firas Faiq Kadhim expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ahmed Ali Sayhood for his efforts in presenting this valuable workshop and the important scientific information it contained. He also praised the students’ interaction and interest in participating in scientific competitions that contribute to developing their spirit of creativity and innovation.
