As part of Al-Ayen University's efforts to expand its cooperation with state institutions, a delegation from the College of Engineering Technology paid an official visit to the Council of Dhi Qar Governorate. The visit aimed to continue joint coordination and learn about the Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Center. This visit marks the beginning of practical steps towards establishing an effective institutional partnership that serves the college's aspirations and scientific activities beyond the university campus, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The delegation was headed by the Deputy Dean for Acedemic Affairs, Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi and included the Head of the Cybersecurity Department, Dr. Ibrahim Talaat, and the Head of the Mechanical Power Engineering Department, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajami. They were received by the Deputy Governor for Planning, Mr. Razzaq Al-Ali.
The visit included a review of the operational mechanisms of the Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Center in the governorate and discussions on ways to exchange expertise and implement joint training and applied programs that contribute to developing national competencies and enhancing digital transformation in government institutions.
The visit concluded with an agreement to move forward with signing a formal memorandum of understanding between the College of Engineering Technology and the Dhi Qar Governorate, which will enhance integration between the academic sector and government institutions, and contribute to providing quality services that support the community and keep pace with the requirements of the digital age.
