The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a workshop titled "Women's Empowerment: Small Projects from Idea to Reality," presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuqa Abdul-Razzaq, as part of its ongoing support for women's role in development and its efforts to enhance their active participation in society.
The workshop covered important topics focusing on mechanisms for converting entrepreneurial ideas into successful small projects, the essential steps for moving from the idea stage to implementation, and the administrative and planning principles that contribute to project sustainability.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of small projects in serving society in general, and their role in empowering women economically and socially in particular, by providing job opportunities, promoting financial independence, and developing skills, thus strengthening their position as active partners in the development process.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific and awareness-raising activities that the College of Engineering is keen to organize in support of community empowerment and capacity-building programs.
