The Quality Assurance Department at Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a training workshop titled “Academic Description: From Concepts to Application – Part 1.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Najm Nimr Al-Subaih, Head of the Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology Department and a member of the Institutional and Program Accreditation Committee at the College of Engineering Technology. Quality assurance officers from all colleges within the university participated.
The workshop covered the fundamental concepts of learning domains and the most prominent internationally recognized classifications in this field. It also clarified the mechanisms for classifying course outcomes in accordance with academic standards and quality requirements.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants' understanding of the foundations of preparing academic descriptions systematically and practically, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process and raising the level of academic performance at the university.
