The University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, held an awareness workshop entitled "Money Laundering and its Impact on Society, the Family, and Support for Terrorism."
The workshop was presented by Asst. Lecturer Ali Shahid Hamid from the Optometry Department, in cooperation with the college's Media Officer, Noor Dhia, and under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Salah Jawda Al-Zaidy, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit.
The workshop witnessed an exchange of ideas and opinions on the importance of combating money laundering, the measures necessary to reduce this phenomenon and its negative impact on society and the family, as well as its connection to supporting terrorist activities.
The unit's administration emphasized the importance of such workshops in enhancing legal and ethical awareness among students and encouraging their active participation in protecting society from economic and social risks.
