As part of its commitment to instilling ethical values and promoting ethical awareness among its students, the Biomedical Engineering Department held a seminar for second-year students focusing on the concept of integrity and its importance in academic and professional life.
The seminar addressed several key themes, emphasizing the role of integrity in shaping a university student's character, its impact on fulfilling academic obligations, performing well in exams, and preparing research papers with responsibility and integrity, as well as its role in fostering trust and discipline within the educational environment.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Basim Ali Kreidi, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, who offered a number of insightful guidelines and emphasized that integrity is a fundamental pillar in developing competent engineers who possess not only scientific expertise but also a strong ethical framework.
This seminar is part of a series of guidance and awareness activities organized by the College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide a supportive educational environment that contributes to preparing distinguished engineering staff scientifically and ethically.
