Joint examinations for second - and third-year English language students were held in cooperation between Wasit University/College of Basic Education/English Language Department and the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Thi Qar University. This initiative aimed to strengthen scientific and academic collaboration among Iraqi universities and standardize educational and assessment criteria.
This step reflects the commitment of the colleges and academic departments to raising the students' academic level and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of examinations. This was achieved through the exchange of expertise among examination committees and faculty members and the adoption of modern assessment methods that prioritize quality and academic sobriety.
The examinations were conducted in a highly organized environment under the direct supervision of specialized committees. All necessary resources were provided to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations, in accordance with approved ministerial and university regulations. Students expressed their satisfaction with the excellent organization and fruitful cooperation among the participating universities.
This successful experience confirms the importance of joint work between educational institutions in supporting the academic journey and promoting the principle of scientific integration, which will positively impact the level of graduates and contribute to preparing qualified educational personnel capable of serving the community.
