In its ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with higher education and scientific research institutions, and based on the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's directives to consolidate integration between public and private universities, the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Ayen Iraqi University signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the College of Electrical Engineering Technology at the Middle Technical University.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Aboud Dean of the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, and Prof. Dr. Ali Nasser Hussein, Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering Technology at the Middle Technical University, along with several deputy deans and heads of academic departments from both colleges. Both sides emphasized the importance of building an effective partnership that contributes to developing the academic environment and raising the scientific level.
The agreement includes enhancing joint cooperation in developing curricula, modernizing laboratories, exchanging scientific visits, organizing joint standardized examinations, and coordinating scientific and technical aspects, particularly those related to implementing the Bologna Process supplementary requirements in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
In conclusion, both parties expressed their pride in this qualitative step, stressing that the agreement represents a starting point for expanding the horizons of academic and research cooperation, in a way that serves students and supports the higher education process in Iraq.
