The Al-Ayen University's Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, along with His Deputy for Acedemic Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi, received Mr. Raad Jassim, Director of Vocational Education in Dhi Qar Province, accompanied by several Heamasters of Vocational Preparatory Schools in the Province.
During the meeting, they discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation between the university and vocational education institutions, particularly in the areas of exchanging scientific expertise and utilizing the laboratory and technical resources available at the College of Engineering Technology. This cooperation aims to support vocational preparatory school students, preparing them for university studies and enabling them to continue their academic journey. It also seeks to strengthen the university's role in serving civil society by supporting educational and technical pathways for young people.
The two sides discussed and emphasized the importance of strengthening joint coordination and organizing training and awareness programs and events that contribute to raising the scientific and practical competence of students, in line with labor market demands and modern technological developments. They affirmed their commitment to consolidating the institutional partnership with vocational education and maintaining communication to serve the educational process and contribute to preparing qualified technical personnel capable of contributing to sustainable community development.
