In line with Al-Ayen University's vision of fostering collaboration with international academic institutions, the Deputy Chancellor for Acedemic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein welcomed Assr. Prof. Dr. Hussam Abdul Karim Nema Al-Mousawi, a visiting faculty member from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. A meeting was held in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering Prof. Dr. Firas Faiq, the Deputy Dean of College of Engineering Technology for Academic Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed Nasr Al-Obaidi, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fawzi Deputy Dean of the College of Engineering for Academic Affairs and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department. Discussions focused on exploring avenues for research collaboration and curricula development.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the College of Engineering Technology and its various departments, where the guest was shown the specialized laboratories and the available technological infrastructure. The discussions also included in-depth scientific debates on updating curricula and bridging the gap between theory and practice, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and engineering innovation.
