As part of the Visiting Professor Program, the College of Engineering Technology, in cooperation with the Colleges of Dentistry and Engineering, organized an advanced scientific workshop. Visiting Professor Dr. Ziad Tariq from the University of Liverpool, UK, was invited to deliver a specialized workshop on plasma physics and its scientific applications.
The workshop covered the fundamental concepts of plasma physics and its most prominent modern applications, particularly in the medical and engineering fields. This contributed to enhancing scientific knowledge and exchanging academic expertise between local and international educational institutions.
In conclusion, the College of Engineering Technology honored the visiting professor in recognition of his scientific efforts and distinguished participation. The Dean of the College was represented by Asst. Prof Dr. Ahmed Najm Nimr, Head of the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies.
