The Dean of the College of Engineering Prof. Dr. Firas F. Kadhim, along with His Deputy for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarmad K. Dhiyab, and Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Dr. Murtadha D. Abdullah met with the new faculty members holding Master's degrees and teaching assistants holding bachelor's degrees on their first day of work at the college.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the new staff, expressing his appreciation for their joining the College of Engineering family and emphasizing the importance of their role in enhancing the educational process and raising the academic and scientific standards, in line with the college's vision and future goals.
For his part, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhiyab stressed the necessity of adhering to a sound scientific approach and being diligent in following up on student affairs and providing them with the necessary academic support. He also noted the College of Engineering's ongoing efforts to attract distinguished scientific talent, which contributes to developing the educational process and serving the community.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah expressed his best wishes to the new faculty members for success in their academic duties, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the college's scientific and educational goals.
