The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, held an online training workshop as part of the Visiting Professor Program. The workshop, titled "Laser Technologies: Principles, Emerging Applications, and Future Industrial Impact," was presented by Professor Dr. Bibhatsu Kuiri.
The workshop addressed the fundamental principles of laser technologies, their prominent modern and emerging applications in scientific and industrial fields, and their future impact on developing industrial processes, improving production efficiency, and supporting technological innovation.
This workshop is part of the scientific activities implemented by the College of Engineering, which aim to develop the scientific and technical skills of students and researchers and enhance international academic cooperation. This contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by supporting scientific research and the development of advanced technologies in the industrial sector.
