In a significant step to enhance academic and scientific cooperation, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ayen Iraqi University and that of Thi Qar University signed a twinning agreement aimed at unifying efforts and exchanging expertise in the fields of education, scientific research, and institutional development.
During the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Firas Fadhil Alwan Al-Yassin, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Thi Qar University, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of this partnership in developing curricula and expanding the horizons of scientific research to keep pace with global developments in pharmaceutical sciences.
For his part, Dr. Haider Hamed Abbas Al-Anbari, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, expressed his delight at signing this agreement, which represents a new beginning for academic complement between the two institutions. He stressed that the cooperation will also include summer training, joint supervision, and the organization of conferences and workshops.
The agreement includes cooperation in:
- Developing curricula and course syllabi.
- Exchanging expertise and scientific visits.
- Joint supervision of graduation projects and postgraduate studies.
- Organizing joint student, sports, and cultural activities. - Supporting research and publication efforts in internationally ranked journals.
The agreement was signed in the presence of several faculty and administrative staff members from both sides, in an atmosphere characterized by cooperation and a genuine desire to build an effective academic partnership that serves the aspirations of students and educational institutions.
