In its pursuit of strengthening the integration between academic education and professional practice, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ayen Iraqi University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pharmacists Syndicate in Dhi Qar on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Haider Hamed Abbas Al-Anbari, and the Head of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Dhi Qar, Mr. Mohammed Sabah Kayzi.
This agreement aims to enhance scientific and professional cooperation between the two parties in the fields of education, training, and scientific research. It also seeks to develop the skills of students and graduates through joint training programs and workshops, in addition to facilitating field training opportunities for college students within pharmaceutical institutions under the supervision of the syndicate.
The memorandum further includes cooperation in organizing scientific conferences and seminars, exchanging expertise and information between faculty members and pharmacists, and contributing to the development of curricula to align with labor market demands.
During the signing ceremony, both parties affirmed that this step represents a distinguished model of integration between academic and professional institutions in serving the community and developing the pharmacy profession in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
