The College of Pharmacy at Al-Ayen Iraqi University concluded its drug awareness activities as part of the 2025 Iraqi Anti-Drug Week. These activities aimed to promote health, psychological, and social awareness of the dangers of addiction and to reinforce the university's role in serving the community.
The activities included:
- An introduction to common types of drugs and their effects on the neurological system

- A presentation on the health risks of addiction to medications and medical products
Presented by: Asst. Lecturer Ammar Mohammed Attia and Asst. Lecturer Ramez Talib Falih
Monday - College of Pharmacy's Deanship
- An awareness exhibition within the college featuring posters and student projects depicting the harms of addiction
Supervised by: Asst. Lecturer Mu'tasim Al-Saleh
Throughout the week, the College of Pharmacy's Deanship
A corner for initial psychological and health consultations in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit

- Clarifying the Pharmacist's Role in Community Awareness and Safe Medication Use
Presented by: Asst. Lecturer Mays Mazen Yahya
