The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Ayen Iraqi University received a delegation from Nasiriyah Central Prison, headed by the prison director, and including the prison's media officer, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Prof. Dr. Mohammed A. Al-Tahhan, who welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation for the visit, reflects the depth of cooperation between the two institutions.
The visit drops within the framework of activating the educational and community partnership between Nasiriyah Central Prison and Al-Ayen Iraqi University. This partnership aims to provide inmates with opportunities to complete their university studies in specific fields, thus contributing to their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation to include health and technology fields, thereby enhancing the exchange of academic and practical expertise between the university and reformation and rehabilitation institutions.
