The Continuing Education Center at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held a workshop on Sunday, November 2, 2025, titled "Managing the Carried-Over Process on the Higher Education Electronic Platform." The workshop was attended by several deans, their deputies, heads of academic departments, and faculty members from university's various colleges. Its aim was to develop and enhance the capabilities of academic and administrative staff in managing and organizing carried-over procedures through the Higher Education Electronic System (SIS).
The workshop was presented by Dr. Sarah Jawad Shuja, who emphasized the importance of improving electronic performance to ensure data accuracy and the smooth and efficient updating of student information.
During the workshop, the steps involved in the system were reviewed, and the most prominent technical and administrative challenges facing the carried-over process were discussed. Proposed solutions were also presented to improve performance and enhance institutional efficiency in light of the digital transformation.
