The Department of Art Education at the College of Education of Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a scientific symposium entitled
"Beauty and Psychology: The Aesthetic Environment, Individual Taste, and their Relationship to Citizenship."
The symposium was delivered by Dr. Riyadh Muhammad Mohsen Al-Ismaili, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education and a number of faculty members and students.
The symposium addressed the concept of beauty from a psychological perspective, the role of the aesthetic environment in developing individual taste, and how this taste contributes to strengthening the values of citizenship and belonging to society. Dr. Al-Ismaili also addressed the importance of aesthetic education in building a balanced personality possessing a refined human and national sense.
In conclusion, a fruitful discussion took place between the lecturer and the audience, enriched by the participants' opinions and questions, reflecting their interest in the symposium topic and its psychological, social, and cultural dimensions.
