University Media: Adian Al-Aboudi
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Al-Ayen Iraqi University received the ministerial committee assigned by the Supervision and Follow-up Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for a field visit to review the workflow of examination committees and to review compliance with ministerial instructions related to exam management and the master sheet for the 2023-2024 academic year. The committee included Asst. Prof. Dr. Udai Bajay Shabib from Dhi Qar University, Dr. Ali Hassan Darjal from the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, and Mr. Alaa Jassim Salim from the Department of Private Higher Education.
The committee was received by the Chancellor of the University Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoun, along with his Deputies for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Hussein, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Yousef Odeh for Administrative Affairs.
The Ministerial Committee highly commended the organizational and administrative efforts exerted by the university, expressing its highly admiration for the professionalism, accuracy, and discipline of the examination committees. It also highlighted their full commitment to documenting student data and files within official ministerial regulations, particularly those related to the Master's Degree Record and the electronic admissions system. The committee also conducted a comprehensive audit of examination files, documented them, and verified the names of accepted students with the admissions system data. The committee expressed its great satisfaction with the extent to which procedures at the university conformed to the approved University Examinations Management Guide, reflecting the university's commitment to quality education and ensuring the highest levels of academic integrity.
Through this positive evaluation, Al-Ayen Iraqi University confirms its continued commitment to fulfilling its academic and educational mission according to the highest standards and its full commitment to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which contributes to strengthening its position among reputable universities.
