A delegation from Al-Ayen Iraqi University, headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Chancellor of the University, visited Al-Mustansiriya University on Monday, June 23, 2025. They met with its president, Prof. Dr. Safaa Taqi Al-Issawi, congratulating him on assuming his new position. They discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation between the two universities in the fields of higher education and academic program development.
The delegation consisted of Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Hussein, Deputy Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Odeh, Deputy Chancellor for Administrative Affairs.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise, and the signing of joint agreements ensuring the exchange of visits and academic and research programs, which will contribute to the development of university education paths and the enhancement of the quality of scientific output.
The President of Al-Mustansiriya University, Prof. Dr. Al-Issawi praised the efforts and initiatives of Al-Ayen Iraqi University to enhance scientific cooperation and openness to Iraqi universities. He emphasized Al-Mustansiriya University's commitment to building partnerships with academically sound educational institutions such as Al-Ayen University.
