As part of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions, a delegation from Al-Ayen Iraqi University visited the University of Technology on Monday, June 23, 2025, to congratulate Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza on his appointment as President of the University of Technology.
The delegation was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Chancellor of the University, accompanied by Asst. Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Nasir A. Hussein and the Deputy for Administrative Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Odeh.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed their pride in the solid academic progress witnessed by the University of Technology, wishing Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri continued success in his new leadership role. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities, particularly in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise, and organizing joint activities and programs that serve the educational process.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hamza expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the visit, praising the depth of the relationship between the two universities and emphasizing that these initiatives represent a cornerstone for expanding the horizons of fruitful cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
