In line with its commitment to promoting a culture of human rights and empowering women in the workplace, the College of Law at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Division, organized a workshop on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, entitled "Administrative and Legal Amendments to Protect Women's Rights at Work."

The workshop was lectured by Asst. Lecturer Rehab M. Jassim, who offered a detailed presentation on the most prominent recent legal and administrative amendments that enhance the protection of working women and guarantee their rights within a safe and fair work environment.

The workshop addressed several important topics, most notably:

- legal amendments related to combating violence and harassment in the workplace

-Administrative policies that support gender equality in the areas of recruitment and promotions

-Mechanisms for filing complaints and legal follow-up, that ensure the protection of working women and the vital role of educational institutions in raising employee awareness and promoting a culture of professional respect.

 This workshop is part of a series of awareness-raising activities organized by Al-Ayen University, which aim to foster a work environment based on the principles of justice, equality, and respect, in line with national goals to empower women and enhance their role in sustainable development.
