On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, represented by its Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Technical College of Dhi Qar - Southern Technical University, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Hussein T. Abdullah. This agreement aims to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between educational institutions.
This agreement aims to open new horizons of joint cooperation between the two parties, covering the fields of education, training, teaching, and curriculum development, in addition to scientific research through the implementation of joint research projects. The agreement also includes organizing various student activities, including mutual scientific visits, scientific exhibitions, and academic debates, as well as sports activities that enhance interaction and integration between students from the two institutions. The terms also include administrative cooperation and ongoing communication to develop academic aspects in line with the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which seeks to support partnerships between public and private universities.
This step exemplifies ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education in Iraq through the exchange of expertise and the integration of capabilities between educational institutions, contributing to the advancement of academic outcomes and the comprehensive development of the university environment. It is hoped that this agreement will result in future projects and programs that serve students and the academic community alike.
